Dr. Otterstedt grew up in Auburn, Indiana. He attended Butler University for his bachelor’s degree and remained in Indianapolis to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Indiana University School of Dentistry. He then started his career in the United States Navy completing a general practice residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. His general dentist naval career included stops onboard the USS Kitty Hawk and Naval Health Center Great Lakes. He then completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital Colorado before concluding his active military service at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. He continues his military service as a reservist. He enjoys hiking, cycling, skiing, traveling, gaming, and spending time with his wife, Linnea, and sons, Theodore and Desmond.
