Dr. Dana Saucier was born and raised in northern California in the town of Roseville. As a child, Dr. Saucier found her calling as a pediatric dentist while working part-time for a pediatric dentist when pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Dr. Saucier went on to complete both dental school and her pediatric dental residency at the University of Southern California. This is where Dr. Saucier and Dr. Stettler first met and became friends!
For the first two years following graduation, Dr. Saucier practiced in both Los Angeles, California and El Paso, Texas; she then moved full-time to Austin, Texas where she practiced for the past five years. The clinical experiences in this variety of practices have been diverse and allowed Dr. Saucier to gain experience treating a broad range of children from all walks of life.
While living in Texas, Dr. Saucier met her husband Elvis, whom she married in 2014. Both Dr. Saucier and Elvis have an undeniable passion for the outdoors and staying active, especially enjoying hiking, running, and Olympic weight lifting. They are beyond excited to be moving to Colorado and to explore all that this beautiful state has to offer. Although Dr. Saucier and Elvis don’t have any children yet, they are huge animal lovers and have two dog-children—a yellow lab named Cali and her younger, but much larger sister, Dixie, a Great Pyrenees/Aussie mix.
In Dr. Saucier’s past seven years of practice, she has realized how fortunate she is to have found a career that she not only loves, but that also allows her to make a positive impact on the lives and smiles of her patients. She is looking forward to becoming part of the community here in Colorado Springs and to have the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Stettler, and continue to provide the best possible dental care to all children and families.
